Rob Thomas
CEO, Team Cymru, Inc.
Rob Thomas is CEO, Research Fellow, and founder of Team Cymru. Rob has worked as a network engineer, Unix kernel developer, systems administrator, and security architect at companies as diverse as Motorola, Sun, Cisco, and Ameritech. Rob has a passion for all things technical, and it shows in his dynamic writings and presentation style. Rob is proud to serve as CEO for this motivated team of Internet security analysts.

Jeff Vosburg
COO, Team Cymru, Inc.
Jeff Vosburg is COO of Team Cymru. Jeff has worked as a technology executive and leader in industries as diverse as legal, financial services, telecom, ISV and manufacturing. Jeff's passion is leading diverse, talented, driven people based on an entrepreneurial spirit, collaboration and 'can do' attitude. His experience in growing progressive teams is being joyfully applied to this unique and gifted group of experts. Jeff received an engineering degree from Purdue University in 1982 and executive management training from Kellogg School of Management in 2005.

Dave Deitrich
CTO, Team Cymru, Inc.
Dave Deitrich is CTO and a Research Fellow for Team Cymru. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois in 1993 and his Masters' degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1995, both in Computer Science. Dave has worked as a network engineer and network security guru for Motorola, IBM and Cisco Systems before becoming a founding member of Team Cymru in 2005. He has a wide range of experience with different operating systems, network platforms and programming languages.

Jerry Martin
CFO, Team Cymru, Inc.
Jerry Martin is the CFO and a Research Fellow for Team Cymru. Additionally, he teaches a graduate course in Network Security Fundamentals which covers recognizing, preventing, and recovering from cyber attacks at George Mason University. In his final assignment with the United States Air Force, Jerry served as Director, Technical Analysis Branch at the Joint Task Force for Computer Network Operations (JTF-CNO). He has authored papers for a number of government seniors and has presented talks in many different forums.

Neil Long
VP of Research, Team Cymru, Inc.
Neil Long is VP for Research and a Research Fellow for Team Cymru. He has a B.Sc. (1973) and a Ph.D. (1978) in Materials Science, is a Member of the Institute of Physics (UK), Chartered Physicist and Chartered Scientist but currently performs research on malware and TCP-IP packets . Neil has been a researcher in Sweden (Chalmers, Gothenburg), UK (Birmingham), USA (ASU, Arizona) and UK (Oxford) with a stint in the commercial world in a small company selling specialised UHV gear. Before joining Team Cymru, Neil had moved from academic research to Network Security and managed the security for Oxford University (OxCERT). Neil served on the FIRST Steering Committee from 1999 until 2003 and was Chairman 2002-2003. Neil became a founding member of Team Cymru in 2005.

Stephen Gill
Chief Scientist, Team Cymru, Inc.
Stephen Gill is Chief Scientist, Research Fellow, and co-founder of Team Cymru. Stephen has worked as a senior network engineer, security architect, and technical analyst at various companies including IBM, Dantis, GTP, Vanco, and Cisco Systems. He thrives on innovation, talking tech, and researching the 'who' and 'why'. He equally enjoys worldwide outreach with partners towards solving the technical and social challenges of malicious Internet activity. He is honored to lead the technical charge for such a forward thinking group of security researchers.
